Sussex Day, Thursday 16th June 2022

Sussex has its own special day – 16th June – and this year the Friends of the South Downs are celebrating by holding a ‘singing guided walk’ around the beautiful South Downs village of Slindon. Historian, Chris Hare, will be talking about South Downs life across the centuries, and then joining with his fellow performers in Duck Pond Sailors to sing shanties and folk songs from years gone by.
