I took this photo on the night of Tuesday 29th April at about 10pm, during the coronavirus lockdown. The street was totally quite, but the lights shone out from no.44, seemingly beckoning me over and reminding me of its illustrious occupant whose lights might have shone out on a similar spring evening nearly 160 years ago.
