The Four Men, a dramatic reading. Sullington Tithe Barn, October 28th and 29th October 2023.

Two performances of Hilaire Belloc’s, ‘The Four Men’ took place on the afternoons of the 28th and 29th of October to capacity audiences. Music was provided by the Sussex Folk Orchestra, and refreshments of hot drinks and cake were provided in the interval. There was also a wonderful exhibition of photographs by Dean Sephton, taken along the route ‘the four men’ took in 1902. Both days were considered a great success and everyone agreed that the five actors – three professional and two amateur and done Belloc proud!
